With a rainy start to the day it was feared the under 11 blues match would be cancelled, but it seemed luck was finally on our side. Either way a full Rovers squad turned out to play Wicklow Town and both sides were off from the start! Equally matched, it was neck and neck from start to finish with Rovers dominating the first half only to have Town set the pace in the second. Lucas Hackett was in the right place, at the right time, to catch a communication from the keeper who sent a long ball to assist in scoring the winning goal! Every player gave their all from both sides today and a big thanks to Town for visiting and providing such a thrilling game!
