Our under 12B's came up against a strong Avonmore side in Tullylusk this evening. It's always a tough game when a B Team comes up against a single team club, and despite being right in the mix at half time, Avonmore were comfortable winners in the end. Rovers battled hard throughout, and if they took their chances early in the second half, things could have been different. Best for Rovers on the day were Oscar Kikata, Dara Butler, Odhran Convery, and Charlie O'Neill. We'll regroup and go again against Arklow Town on Saturday morning. Thanks to Avonmore for the game.
