All managers please remember with the new junior season up and running we request that you send in your match result and goalscorers to your relevant fixtures secretary as soon as possible on completion of your match. Unfortunately, with some managers they think as soon as possible is three or four hours after their game is over. It doesn’t matter what the result is, the result still needs to be sent in. This needs to be done for several reasons, media deadlines in the shape of the Wicklow People, Herald Online, Club Facebook, Club Online App and Club Website need to be met as well as the league needing to keep records for the purposes of regrading. Please remember we are all volunteers and the sooner all information is in the sooner we can all relax and enjoy our day. It seems to be the same one or two managers every week that head home to enjoy the rest of their weekend while other people in the club have to sit around beside their phone and laptop waiting for them to send in their result and goalscorers. It ends up with the managers in question been chased seeking their match details, this is not an ideal situation. What's evening more embarrassing is the fact one of our club officials had to ring the opposition club to attain the result of one our home games because the manager didn't have the courtesy to send on the result details.
