It was perfect match conditions in Whitegates this morning where the 13C's hosted Arklow United. The game was very even in the first half, with both teams creating chances. However, both defences stood strong. The second half was very similar, with both teams pushing forward looking for the first goal. Arklow began to create a bit more in the second half and got their goal from a free kick. Another big game from Loukas Karamalis in goal who made some fantastic saves. Cayden O'Malley was the Wicklow man of the match and nearly scored from over 20 yards with a thunderous shot. There was also a solid performance from the Wicklow defence.
